This cake turned out kinda cute after it was all said and done. 9″ bottom tier filled with buttercream and cherries. Plain top tier and all fondant & buttercream accents. Thank heavens Emily took a photo of me posing by it, because less than 30 minutes later, it was no more.

That’s too bad because that’s a very pretty cake. At least yours didn’t fall apart in the parking lot on the way IN! That happened to one of my students one time & all she had to fix it was some Pepto Bismal pink fondant & she tried to cover the broken cake parts with it. It ended up so uneven & bumpy that her friend said it looked like a stomach. I have never laughed so hard in my life, but I felt so bad for the poor girl.
ann, how did i miss this comment for this long? that is HILARIOUS about the stomach. and gross. you must have seen some pretty sketchy stuff teaching that class. do you still do that?
